- We will make preparations to deliver electricity on the date you request, but depending on the work, such as when repairs to utility poles or wires are required, the work may take longer than the requested date. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in applying as soon as your electricity usage is decided.
- Our company generally estimates the time required for external line construction to be around 10 business days (approximately 2 weeks), but in the following cases, depending on the site conditions and the content of the construction, it may take longer than the above period to supply electricity, so we ask that you apply as early as possible. For details, please contact our electricity distribution office.
Cases where construction takes a long time
(1) When negotiations or applications to landowners, etc. are required for the installation of new utility poles or guy lines, etc.
- When the length of the service line is long or when direct service is not possible due to site conditions, negotiations with landowners to install new utility poles or support lines, negotiations with tree cutting, or applications to road administrators are required
- When installing high- or low-voltage lines or service lines, etc., negotiations are required to pass over the premises of other customers, or construction work crossing or along national highways that requires permission to do so.
- When it is not possible to directly install a service line and negotiations are required to pass through another customer's house (connected service line), or when an application must be made to NTT to install a service line through an NTT pole
etc.
(2) When a technical check is required regarding the impact on surrounding customers or our facilities due to the use of solar power grid connections or special loads, etc.
Reference: What is special load equipment?
- Equipment that passes a large current for a short period of time, such as X-ray machines and welding machines
- Facilities where harmonic generation is a concern
- Equipment where the entire contract load of equipment, such as lighting equipment (lighting chrysanthemums, etc.), night game equipment, etc., is continuously operated at a high level
- Storage batteries and other special equipment
etc.
(3) Other factors
- In remote areas such as underground areas and remote islands
- When construction work becomes difficult due to bad weather or storm or flood damage
- When it takes time to make the payment of the construction cost contribution
etc.
