Shifty Platforms, also referred to as Shifty Stones[1] , are platforms in Donkey Kong Bananza . In their default state, they are a group of moving, silver triangles in a rectangular formation. If Donkey Kong collides with a Shifty Platform in its default state, the triangles briefly scatter before returning to the regular formation. When a Shifty Platform comes in contact with a chunk, the platform converts entirely into the terrain type of that chunk. After a short time after touching a chunk, the platform begins flickering and reverts to its default state soon after.
Shifty Platforms prominently appear in the eponymous Challenge Course Shifty Platform Road, the first Challenge Course of the Hilltop Layer.
