Snake switches are objects in Donkey Kong Bananza . They exclusively appear on sublayer 1203 of the Radiance Layer. They are floating, geometric, snake-like devices that hold a gold rod. On one end of this rod is a gold cone; the other end as a miniature Synthetic Sun, which either glows cyan or pink depending on the snake switches' orientation. When struck, every snake switch has its miniature Synthetic Sun toggle between pink and cyan, one of the Synthetic Suns on the sublayer will activate and the other will deactivate, every snake switch rotates 90° clockwise or 90° counterclockwise. The change in activation of the Synthetic Suns results in the light source changing to match, affecting Shade Clouds, Bright Ore and Shade Ore.
Some snake switches are on the ceiling or bound to tracks.
