Pan Platforms[citation needed] are objects found in Stage 11 of Virtual Boy Wario Land, acting as platforms over areas of fire. Most are completely stationary, though some blink every few moments before either dumping their contents into the fire or flinging them into the background; every moving one only performs one of the two actions. Whenever Wario slams the ground, inert Pan Platforms shake with the environment due to being on the scenery layer, while ones that can move do not shake due to being on the sprite layer, allowing them to be told apart without waiting.
