Checkuser icons
These indicators are used by CheckUsers and stewards for easier skimming of their notes, actions and comments.

This page is for requesting CheckUser information on a wiki with no local CheckUsers (see also requesting checkuser access). Make sure to follow the following instructions, or your request may not be processed in a timely manner.

Before making a request:

  1. Make sure you have a good reason for the check. It will only be accepted to counter vandalism or disruption to Wikimedia wikis. Valid reasons include needing a block of the underlying IP or IP range, disruptive sockpuppetry, vote-stacking, and similar disruption where the technical evidence from running a check would prevent or reduce further disruption.
  2. Be specific in your reasons. Ambiguous or insufficient reasons will cause delays. Explain the disruption and why you believe the accounts are related, ideally using diff links or other evidence.
  3. Make sure there are no local checkusers.
  4. Please ensure that the check hasn't already been done:

Reason(s): Suspected socks of 成人玩具掌櫃 aka LTA 33. Obscene usernames, same disruptive pattern for those that have started editing. See also Steward_requests/Checkuser/2020-12#成人玩具掌櫃@yue.wikipedia. In addition, I suspect that they have created at least 30 accounts (see User:H78c67c/sandbox/0 for full list) since last CU, in which 8 are not blocked yet. Reason(s): All accounts were deemed to be w:zh:Special:Contribs/Lu tiwan based on behavioral evidence. I personally don't believe the most recent one Loxa9991116's behavioral evidence is rock-solid, plus 0789-GR appealed their block claiming they are not a sockpuppet. Also, assuming all behavioral evidence is correct, 3 socks in such a short period of time indicate there might be a potential for sleepers. Reason(s): Suspected PXD socks. EdwardAlexanderCrowley was suspected of unusual behavior of mastering editing, javascript gadgets and modules not long after registering their account. It was blocked as PXD's sockpuppet based on recent LTA activity. MCC214 noted some discrepancies between EdwardAlexanderCrowley's and previously confirmed PXD's socks. EdwardAlexanderCrowley appealed for their block, claiming "three" other socks including CrowleyBot, QNM, and QFQ, although the latter two don't seem to exist. --Techyan (Talk) 15:18, 25 January 2021 (UTC) [reply ]

Someone thought I was 呼尔奇兰 or 伟大的阿卡扎曼扎拉克, who were already banned. What I did was that I used some javascript to assist my edit (totally legal and generally distinguishable from 呼尔奇兰), which couldn't be done by 呼尔奇兰. And now I am banned, so I request CU myself.
