Klevar is one of the seven Star Spirits in Paper Mario . He is a smart, young star that is constantly reading books, and is always seen carrying one in hand. He is light yellow in color with rosy cheeks, a matching pink bowtie, and a serene expression. His description states "Young and very clever, he's always reading books. His power, time out, keeps enemies from moving."
History[edit ]
Paper Mario[edit ]
Klevar is the Star Spirit that Huff N. Puff guards in Chapter 6: Dark Days in Flower Fields. After defeating a group of Lakitus and destroying the Puff Puff Machine, which had caused the clouds to cover Flower Fields, Mario plants and climbs the beanstalk leading to Cloudy Climb. There, Mario fights and defeats Huff N. Puff, freeing the captured spirit. When Klevar is freed, he gives Mario the Time Out move as a thanks. Klevar later appears with the other Star Spirits in Star Haven when they give Mario the Star Beam.
Mario Party series[edit ]
In Mario Party 5 , Klevar explains the game's various modes and often invites players to board events when they land on a Happening Space. He cameos in Mario Party: The Top 100 as a collectible item.

Ah, Mario, have you met Tayce T. yet? If not, you should go see her—and don't forget to take an item with you when you go! Tayce T. is a marvelous cook, and she can use the items you gather to make wonderful dishes. (She does make mistakes sometimes, though.) By the way, Tayce T. lives in Toad Town.(An item's effect will change if Tayce T. cooks with it.)
