“What is the secret you're seeking? I know it, I know it, ha HA! I can't tell you, but I'll give you a clue: [random name of the Power Moon] ♪ It's hiding somewhere and no peeking! ♪ Go find it, go find it, scra-CAW!”
Talkatoo, Super Mario Odyssey

Talkatoo is a character in Super Mario Odyssey . It is a yellow parrot wearing a brown explorer's hat. It appears in every kingdom except for the Dark Side and Darker Side, but it does not appear before the player completes "Multi Moon Atop the Falls" in the Cascade Kingdom.

Talkatoo gives the player the names of uncollected Power Moons when consulted. This adds the name of the Power Moon to the Power Moon List, and it marks that row with a Talkatoo icon. Talkatoo can provide only three such clues at a time for each kingdom; talking to Talkatoo again while this limit is met means Talkatoo repeats a name it has already provided. Obtaining the Power Moon removes Talkatoo's icon from the entry in the Power Moon List and frees up another slot for a hint. Once Mario has collected every Power Moon in a kingdom, Talkatoo does not provide any more hints for that kingdom.

During the fight against Mollusque-Lanceur, Talkatoo only squawks in fear and does not provide hints when prompted.
