Dumpsters[1] appear in Super Mario Odyssey as metallic containers that occasionally hold items of interest. They appear exclusively in the Metro Kingdom. Some dumpsters have their lids constantly open, and if Mario knocks a garbage bag into these dumpsters, they will release a Life-Up Heart. This also closes their lid. Other dumpsters contain Power Moons; they need to be hit with a Cap Throw or a captured Bullet Bill to release the Power Moon. The Power Moons for "How Do They Take Out the Trash?" and "One Man's Trash..." are obtained through this method.
