"A key that opens the cell doors in Offandon Island jail."

The Jail Cell Key is a key item in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is a rusty old key that appears during the re-visit in Offandon Island.

After Mario and Luigi are captured and imprisoned in the island jail by Bowser's Minions, Buddy appears and uses the Jail Cell Key to free them. He then hands the key to the brothers, who can use it to unlock another cell or to free an imprisoned Concordian in a nearby cell. Later, the Concordian's son, who is located south of the main plaza, will reward the brothers with an Ultra Candy.
