History[edit ]

Super Mario series[edit ]

New Super Mario Bros. Wii[edit ]

World 7-5 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)
Screenshot from New Super Mario Bros. Wii

Foos are enemies in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. They create fog periodically, though the fog vanishes after a few seconds, and can be blown away either by Spin Jumping or by propelling as Propeller Mario. Foos appear only in World 7-5.

New Super Mario Bros. U / New Super Luigi U / New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe[edit ]

Foos are enemies in New Super Mario Bros. U , New Super Luigi U , and their port. Foos behave the same as they did previously. Foos appear only in Snaking above Mist Valley in New Super Mario Bros. U and in Three-Headed Snake Block in New Super Luigi U. Two Foos can also be found in the Triple-Jump for Coins challenge in New Super Mario Bros. U, which takes place in an original course.

Mario Party 10[edit ]

Foos are obstacles in Foo Me Once, a minigame in Mario Party 10 . They blow fog to obscure the buttons displayed on the platforms which the players need to remember in order to safely traverse across.

Dr. Mario World[edit ]

Foos appear in the background of World 15 in Dr. Mario World after clearing an area.

The contemporaneous name for each language is listed first. Subsequent names are listed in chronological order for each language, from oldest to newest, and have the media with which they are associated in the "notes" column. Names exclusive to localizations of the Super Mario Bros.
