In The Shadow Of The Relic is a Side Quest you can complete. Completing this quest will reward you with items that can be used throughout your adventures.

Where To Find In The Shadow Of The Relic
To find In The Shadow Of The Relic, you'll need to complete Lodgok's Loyalty and In The Shadow Of Hope first. You'll then get an owl from Ominis and you'll have to travel to the Feldcroft Region Catacomb and talk to Ominis to start the quest.

In The Shadow Of The Relic
When you enter the Catacombs and talk to Ominis, he'll say that this is your fault because you've encouraged Sebastian. After that, you can say one of the following:
- I know. This is my fault.
- Sebastian won't listen.
Ominis will go on to explain how Sebastian is in a lot of danger in the catacomb, and the two of you need to save him. After that, you'll need to enter the catacomb. As you follow the path, you'll be led to a room full of Inferius that you'll have to fight off.
Once you've dealt with them, you'll have to deal with another horde of Inferius when you get to the next room. As soon as you clear the room, Ominis will tell you that he just noticed Sebastian's sister isn't there, and he has to go to Hogwarts to try and tell a different story before anyone hears what's going on.
When he leaves, you'll be on your own. Continue to follow the main path, but it won't take long before you get ambushed by another group of Inferius, so be prepared for another fight.
Now that you've dealt with them, walk down the middle path, and you'll be led to Sebastian. To get across, open up the gravesites and use their bones to make a bridge.
You'll then want to talk to him, and he'll begin to say that he can control the Inferius. His uncle will come in shortly after you and destroy the relic. When that happens, you and Sebastian will then have to fight off a horde of Inferius and Solomon Sallow simultaneously.
Once you defeat him, a cutscene will start, and Sebastian will kill his uncle by using Avada Kedavra. As soon as that happens, Anne will walk in and destroy the book and leave with her dead uncle.
After the cutscene ends, you'll have to leave the catacomb, and you'll have to talk to Sebastian again. Sebastian will then justify killing his uncle. Once he says that, you can say one of the following:
- No one should know that curse.
- Everyone should know that curse.
Sebastian will then offer to teach Avada Kedavra. When he does, you can say one of the following:
- Now is not the time.
- Yes please.
After you decide if you want to learn it or not, the quest will end. All Unforgivable Curses are entirely optional and do not impact progression through these quests.
