Cache In The Castle
Cache in the Castle is a Side Quest you can complete in the Hogwarts Castle. Learn how to solve Arthur's treasure map and what you'll earn with this side quest walkthrough.
Cache in the Castle starts The Astronomy Wing within the castle. You can quickly get to the side quest by fast traveling to the Charms Classroom point. Once you arrive there, you'll need to talk to Arthur Plummly to activate the quest.
Cache in the Castle
As soon as you begin talking to Arthur Plummly, he'll explain that he would like for you to join him in a treasure hunt. After he asks you to join, you can say:
- Sounds Interesting
- Not sure it's worth my time.
Either way, Arthur will hand you a treasure map and let you know that you can keep whatever you find. Once he says that, you can say one of the following:

| Perhaps I'll have a look. | This option will further the quest, and after, you'll be left to solve the puzzle. |
| Any idea where to start? | Arthur suggests you look near Hecats classroom first. |
When the two of you are done talking, a picture of the map will appear on your screen, giving you hints on where you'll need to go.
The first landmark can be found in The Astronomy Wing. You'll want to fast-travel to the Defence Against the Dart Arts Tower and begin walking down the stairs. Eventually, you'll reach a skeleton next to a globe, as shown in the picture below.
Now that you've found the skeleton, continue walking down the stairs and use exist the building by using the two big doors. This will lead you to the fountain shown on the map.
After, you'll need to walk through the double doors that are directly behind the fountain and walk up the stairway. This will lead to a painting, and to get the treasure, you'll have to use Accio on it.
Once you use Accio, a hidden doorway will open up, leading you to the chest, and when you open it, you'll receive a robe.
Now that you've solved the puzzle, return to Arthur and let him know. He'll explain that he found some money and the quest will be completed.
