How to Start In The Shadow Of Friendship

In The Shadow Of Friendship will become available after you complete In The Shadow Of Revelations and beat the main story. After you've completed them, you'll have to go to the Undercroft and speak to either Ominis or Sebastian.

In The Shadow Of Friendship Walkthrough

Below are the consequences and outcomes of whether or not you turned in Sebastian during In the Shadow of Fate.

• If You Did Turn In Sebastian
• If You Did Not Turn In Sebastian

If You Turned Sebastian In

If you've turned him in, you'll need to speak to Ominis, and when you begin talking to him, he'll say Sebastian has been expelled and will face trial for his crimes soon. He'll go on to say that he feels conflicted about turning him in, and things will never be the same again. After he says that, you can say one of the following:

• I know what you mean.
• He deserves to be punished.

Ominis will go on to say that he could tell Sebastian that Victor Rookwood was the one who cursed Anne. But this information only fueled his hate towards goblins and dark wizards, but it brought peace to Anne.

Ominis will then say he's glad the two of you became friends, and he's happy you're attending Hogwarts. Once he's done talking, you'll complete the quest.

If You Did Not Turn Sebastian In

If you didn't turn in Sebastian, you'll need to talk to him in the Undercroft. When you get there, he'll begin saying that Ominis spoke to Anne, and she feels he needs to pay for what he did, but she won't turn him in. He'll go on to say that he lost his sister, and she refuses to see him. Once he's done talking, you can say one of the following:

• Perhaps Anne will come around.
• Anne may never forgive you.

Sebastian will say that he plans to redeem himself and is thankful to you and Ominis. He'll go on to say that he's grateful for your friendship, and he's glad you're attending Hogwarts. Once he's done talking, you'll complete the quest.
