Toad , Mario Tennis Fever

The Lightning Cheep Chomp is a boss in Mario Tennis Fever . It appears in Limestone Cave as the final boss. After the player defeats the Cheep Chomp they move on to another area. In this area the exit and the Lightning Racket appear, but suddenly a Mega Cheep Chomp appears, swallowing the Lightning Racket and thus transforming into the Lightning Cheep Chomp.

In battle, multiple Cheep Cheeps appear, jumping out of the water toward the player. These Cheep Cheeps must be returned to the Lightning Cheep Chomp with the racket to damage it. The Lightning Cheep Chomp has several attacks, which consist of swallowing some Cheep Cheeps and launching them at the player, launching dark balls that cause stalactites to fall from the cave ceiling, and launching electrified Cheep Cheeps that generate electric fields on the ground upon impact. As the battle progresses, these attacks become more difficult to dodge and occur more frequently. After losing all its health, the Lightning Cheep Chomp explodes, granting the player the Lightning Racket and allowing them to exit the cave.
