ADB Expatriate Spouse Connect (ESC) Program

We recognize that many of our international staff are dual-career couples adjusting to life in a new work location.

Our Expatriate Spouse Connect program is designed to support accompanying partners—spouses, domestic partners, and partners of any gender—who are looking to continue their professional journey or explore new directions in their career. Through our initiatives, we offer a welcoming and supportive space to engage and grow.

What We Offer

While we do not provide direct job placements, we have a variety of resources and activities to empower your accompanying partner in starting out:

Coaching sessions to enable reflection on personal and professional goals
Networking events to build connections with local organizations and professional communities
Career talks that cover opportunities for employment, further studies, advocacy, and volunteer work
Interactive workshops that allow sharing of experiences and ideas with fellow participants

This program is also available virtually for partners of ADB expatriate staff in Resident Missions and Field Offices.
