Timetable of AIST Shuttle Bus (from Tsukuba Center Bus Terminal)

If you want to visit AIST on weekdays, you can take AIST free shuttle buses. Take exit A3 of Tsukuba Station, and walk along a. Just before a pedestrian bridge, turn right and you will find a bus stop for the AIST shuttle buses . Map of the temporary bus stop [PDF:1.9 MB]

The shuttle buses are scheduled as below:

Please note:

  • The AIST shuttle buses are operated on weekdays only, and not scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
  • “Route E” buses go to “AIST Tsukuba Central” via “AIST Tsukuba East”.
  • “Route W” buses go to “AIST Tsukuba Central” via “AIST Tsukuba West”.
  • The shuttle buses are small vehicles and they may not be able to carry all visitors.
