Xenoblade Chronicles X is a RPG originally released on the Wii U in 2015, and was re-released as Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on the Nintendo Switch in 2025 (followed by the Switch 2 upgrade in February 2026). XCX follows the story of the inhabitants of New Los Angeles, a human colony built in the wreckage of a crashed spaceship. It blends exploratory RPG combat, territorial control activities, quest structures, and a relationship-building system.
