This is the pronunciation key for IPA transcriptions of Malagasy on Wikipedia.
It provides a set of symbols to represent the pronunciation of Malagasy in Wikipedia articles, and example words that illustrate the sounds that correspond to them. [edit ]- ^ a b c d /tsdzsz/ vary between these sounds, depending on speaker and situation. The latter is especially common when followed by the vowel /i/, including its reduced form [j]. That is, [sj] is generally closer to English shill.
