"Thing: Fan" is a theme composed for Paper Mario: Sticker Star . The track takes heavy inspiration from the opening fanfare of Also sprach Zarathustra . It plays when using the Fan in battle.
The track returns in Paper Mario: Color Splash for the same purpose, and it is on the record for Cherry Lake in the Prisma Museum.
In Paper Mario: The Origami King , the track is titled "Giant Fan of Bonehead Island" and plays when the fan appears on Bonehead Island to blow the fog away. It is found in the Purple Streamer section of the Musée Champignon's Sound Gallery.
