- —Tippi , Super Paper Mario
Flip blocks are blocks in Super Paper Mario . They are flat and yellow and depict two sideways arrows. Hitting flip blocks from below causes them to stretch and then flip from 2-D to 3-D or vice versa, giving the player character the ability to access new areas and floating doors. There is a variation in The Bitlands that appears more segmented but is the same otherwise.
