Swoon.exe is a dating simulator owned and created by Francis in Super Paper Mario . According to Francis, his is the only known copy of a particular update for the dating sim in existence. Players will encounter this simulator near the end of Chapter 3-4 (The Battle of Fort Francis); however, they have to make sure that Princess Peach is the current "active" character before entering Francis' room. (If the player attempts to enter the room while not playing as Peach, Francis will fire laser beams at them.)

When Peach enters the room and encounters Francis, he takes out his computer with the Swoon.exe application and talks to her through it. Francis selects various options from his menu, including talking to Peach and giving her a "Pink Princess" poster out of love, while Peach does not use the options and merely replies. However, Francis' attempts to win Peach over are unsuccessful, and after a set amount of questions from Francis, she gets annoyed and breaks the fourth wall by grumbling "Who's picking these responses for me, anyway?!". She then asks Francis where Tippi is, which causes him confusion since he does not have a "Tippi" option in his menus. Peach then uses her options and selects Boomer, destroying Francis' computer. The entire scene is a parody of a dating simulation game. Swoon.exe's theme is an arrangement of Francis's theme.
