Buzz Bomber

Buzz Bombers are enemies found within the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. They are robots made by Dr. Eggman that are based on bees, though they more closely resemble wasps due to their blue color and elongated bodies. In almost all appearances, they fly forward through the air, occasionally stopping to shoot bullets out of their stingers in a downward-diagonal pattern. They make one appearance in the Super Mario franchise within the game Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 in the Tokyo Sky Flight minigame, where they use their original sprites and a variation of their typical attack pattern, pursuing the player while shooting in more angles than before, eventually flying away if not destroyed. The minigame also features yellow versions of Buzz Bomber that movies quicker and flees after making one shot. Both types are sometimes armed with Crawl's Bumper, like many other Badniks in the minigame.
