Best Artifacts

Posted:

Artifacts are the unique modifiers that you can find throughout each run in Saros. These are important as they provide passive benefits and upgrades to you that you can't get through your Skills. Although these Artifacts randomly appear, the benefits are consistent, and some of them are better than others. These are some of the best Artifacts that you can choose while playing Saros.

Dash Immunity

The Dash Immunity artifact is an excellent grab, as you'll always have a reason to Dash while playing Saros. You consistently use your Dash for quick traversal or to narrowly dodge an attack. As you get further in the game and find yourself fighting the more dangerous enemies and bosses, their attacks last longer and go further. You might use a Dash to avoid part of it, but there's always the chance you might not avoid everything. The brief immunity you get with this Artifact can greatly benefit you.

Emergency Patch

Emergency Patch is also a good Artifact to have in your build. With Emergency Patch, you heal while your integrity is low, but when you collect Lucenite. You're always collecting Lucenite in Saros, making it an easy requirement to meet. You might not have too many opportunities to get Lucenite when you're fighting a boss, but if they have minions, this is a good way to briefly heal when you don't have access to Aether.

Fatal Drain

Fatal Drain works better when you're working your way to fighting an Overlord. This Artifact allows you to receive a small amount of healing whenever you kill an enemy. This could work for some bosses, such as the Prophet and Bastion, that have minions you have to fight, but not all of them, like the Architect. Still, this is a great way to make sure you don't have to worry about getting Aether drops during a run, and keeps you healthy until the Overlord fight.

Fatal Immunity

If you're looking to couple Artifacts together, the Fatal Drain and Fatal Immunity combination is a highly recommended choice. Similar to Fatal Drain, Fatal Immunity grants you a bonus whenever you kill an enemy, you're now immune for a short time. Whenever you take out an enemy, if you take damage shortly after that, it doesn't hurt you at all, at least for a short time. It's exceptionally helpful for when you're fighting a large horde of enemies, rather than a boss fight.

Fatal Bounty

The Fatal Bounty Artifact provides you with additional Lucenite whenever you take out any enemy using any type of work. This works on every type of enemy, and is a good way to stack up Lucenite if your goal is to unlock as many skills as possible. It's not a huge amount, but if you're consistently eliminating enemies with a heavy Melee attack, especially once you unlock the Burning Strike from the Yellow Shore, Power Attacks, or you go down the longest routes to fight every foe, it's superb.

Seal of Grandiosity

The Seal of Grandiosity is an all-around good choice. It boosts all three of your primary stats: Command, Drive, and Resilience. Normally, you have to choose only one, or you have to pick a single stat and lower the other ones. The Seal of Grandiosity improves all of them, and if it's not a Corrupted Artifact, then you don't receive any negatives about it. There's little downside to this option, unless it's also a Volatile Artifact.

Slowing Hits

Slowing Hits is another great choice for large hordes of enemies, and if you're fighting bosses. With this artifact, whenever you hit a foe, you're slowing them down for a brief period of time. Speed is a huge factor in Saros, and being able to slow down an enemy makes it easier to avoid their attacks and hit them with your own. There's little downside to it if you're looking to optimize your speed and Dashes against an enemy.
