Instructions for making a request
|
---|
Before requesting, make sure that: You have sufficient activity to meet the requirements to be allocated the global rollback flag
=== Global rollback for {{subst:u|{{subst:REVISIONUSER}}}} === {{sr-request |status = <!-- don't change this line --> |domain = global <!-- don't change this line --> |user name = {{subst:REVISIONUSER}} <!-- don't change this line unless you're nominating another user --> }} ::''Not ending before {{subst:#time:j F Y H:i|+5 days}} UTC'' The request will be approved if consensus to do so exists after a period of consideration of no less than 5 days (with rare exceptions , no matter how obvious the result may seem). This is not a vote, and all input is welcome. Stewards will determine whether consensus exists; when doing so it is likely that the weight given to the input of those involved in cross-wiki work will be most influential. |
Global rollback for Grind24
- Global user: Grind24 (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA )
- Not ending before 12 November 2016 16:18 UTC
Hi all, I'd like to reapply for global rollback rights. Most of my cross-wiki vandalism fighting dates to last year, however, this is do to an extended wikibreak I took at the beginning of the year. I have reverted vandalism cross-wiki on several projects. The rollback tool is more efficient than manually undoing and twinkle so this would make it much easier to revert nonsense/spam edits. I certainly wouldn't abuse the trust. Thanks for the consideration Grind24 (talk) 16:18, 7 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]

- Oppose As visible on crossactivity, the user only became active again some days ago. I do not think that it is fitting to already make such a request, especially in light of the previous unsuccessful request. --MF-W 22:56, 7 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]

- Oppose, per MF-Warburg. I always find it suspicious if people request user rights so quickly after their return and even considering only this very short timespan after the return, there hasn't been (SWMT) activity on a daily basis. This makes it impossible for me to support this request. --Vogone (talk) 03:05, 12 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose Oppose, unfortunately. Thanks for helping, however, your activity is very recent, I'd like to see you active for a few weeks before getting this user rights. Sorry :'(. Matiia (talk) 05:17, 12 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Not done No consensus, sorry. Concern: "activity is very recent". ~ Nahid Talk 17:31, 13 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- I honestly feel that it will be a big help for the small wikis (I haven't been active recently due to real-life issues). Thank you for your concern.--Grind24 (talk) 19:58, 13 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
Global rollback for Mr. Fulano
- Global user: Mr. Fulano (edits (alt) • CA • global groups • crossactivity • verify 2FA )
- Not ending before 20 November 2016 00:17 UTC
Hi, I'm a Mr. Fulano and I'm a eliminator and rollbacker of pt.wiki, but I undo vandalism in many wikis, include in languages that I don't know. Usually I check the global filters to undo vandalism. With this tool, I can undo vandalism fastly in many wikis, include in wikis that has a low acessodata and edit. Mr. Fulano! Talk 00:17, 15 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Hi. We like to see users to be active on many wikis and for a few weeks before being granted this user right. I'd recommend to be active for a few weeks more, then re-apply for this user right. Thanks for helping :-). Matiia (talk) 01:12, 15 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose for now. Unfortunately, does not enough crossactivity. For the future, you can join on SWMT for helping in vandalism on small wikis. Per the policy, I would like to see more activity in reverts at multiple wikis, not only in your homewiki. Regards and good luck for the future. --Ks-M9 [disc.] 08:48, 15 November 2016 (UTC).[reply ]

- Closing as Not done due to perceived lack of experience. For gaining global rollback, "users must be demonstrably active in cross-wiki countervandalism or anti-spam activities (...), and make heavy use of revert on many wikis". Please, feel free to reapply later when you gain more cross-wiki experience. Thanks for volunteering. :) RadiX ∞ 03:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]

Hello, I've a past withdrawn request. As, I would like to apply for global renamer to abet the communities in further more works. I would like to help Nepali, Maithili, Hindi and Bhojpuri speaking users here and also at local request pages. I observed that there is a few global renamers from newiki, maiwiki, hiwiki, & bhwiki. I'm one of a admin on both mai & newiki but not a crat anywhere (verify). Also, I'm helping here @newiki & maiwiki in related work. I'm aware of all relevant rename policies as well its scope. One can connect with me (Nickname: Tulsi
) on related IRC channel #wikimedia-rename connect . Have a good day/evening ahead. Thanks for consideration. Regards — TBhagat (talk) 16:44, 17 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]

Global rename for Pablothepenguin
- Wiki: meta.wikimedia.org (list 'crats • bot policy • summary • 'crats rights)
- User: Pablothepenguin (talk • edits • logs • UserRights • activity • CentralAuth • email • verify 2FA )
- Not ending before 3 December 2016 19:52 UTC
I am looking to apply myself more in Wikimedia dealings. Just because my reputation is poor doesn't mean I can't lend a hand and rename accounts for whatever declaratory reasons. Maybe the object here is not for me to achieve much but maybe I'm just missing the point. All in all, I feel I can handle the pressure, and thusly I shall request renaming herein. Pablothepenguin (talk) 19:52, 19 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose Oppose You are blocked on enwiki indefinitely. Therefore you can't move pages there, which is one of the requirements for global renamers (they move user pages from the older username to the new one). This is also your first edit to meta at all. Sorry, but I don't see this happening. --Majora (talk) 21:33, 19 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose. User as no experience in rename-related areas, low cross-wiki experience and this is the first edit by this user. You can read the global rename policy and work in areas of rename users, a permission of global-renamer can rename users, and is very different to move pages. Additionally, the block situation on enwiki does not convince me to support and trust this request. --Ks-M9 [disc.] 22:49, 19 November 2016 (UTC).[reply ]
- Oppose Oppose Sorry to jump on the bandwagon, but the block on enwiki is a dead giveaway. Global rename isn't a tool you can just use like chewing gum; it is an advanced right that can cause some serious server damage if misused. Also, you have not demonstrated having any experience with the renaming process or with general username policies. I very much doubt telling people to get lost will impress people who are evaluating you for a position that requires competency and a high level of trust. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 23:02, 19 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose Oppose "Just because my reputation is poor"... that should tell you how this request would go. --Rs chen 7754 05:22, 20 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose Oppose Global renamers a high level of trust with the community, the global renamer tool is quite responsive and in inexperienced hands can cause serious problems with subsequent processes of name changes. It should be noted that the user also does not possess advanced permissions that can endorse such trust and that block in enwiki unfortunately has a great influence on this request. File:Alvaro Molina.png Alvaro Molina (Let's Talk ) 06:41, 20 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose Oppose and recommend Pablothepenguin to withdraw the request. Being indefblocked on a project and having no demonstrable experience in the user rename process are not good. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 09:49, 20 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose Oppose per K6ka —JuniorX2 Chat Hello! 11:52, 20 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose per above --DangSunM (talk) 15:56, 20 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose Oppose Based on the current status of your account, I don't think you would be suited to perform renames at this time. — Music1201 talk 00:04, 22 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
- Oppose Oppose lack of cross wiki activity, and unresolved "disruption" block on your homewiki. — xaosflux Talk 13:53, 22 November 2016 (UTC) [reply ]
