ADB President Masatsugu Asakawa and Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote greater investment in the region and to recognize the importance of private sector finance as well as catalyzing public sector resources for sustainable and inclusive development.

Singapore is a founding member of ADB. It has provided 480ドル.7 million in capital subscription to ADB. It has also contributed and committed 32ドル.18 million to Special Funds since becoming a member.
