Special Containment Procedures: All SCP-CN-1512-1 instances are to be contained in a Standard Containment Unit at Area-CN-22-α. No sources of fire are to be brought into the containment chamber.
SCP-CN-1512-2 is to be provided with an appropriate amount of branches each day. Branches are to be collected from [REDACTED] Geological Park in the vicinity of Area-CN-22. Personnel are allowed to bring the object to [REDACTED] Geological Park for supervised small-scale activities as a reward for good behavior.
Paper generated by SCP-CN-1512-1 is to be sent to Area-CN-22 as a cost-saving source of paper for personnel. Remaining paper is to be stored in Storage Unit 3C's Low-Value Containment Lockers.
Description: SCP-CN-1512-1 is a collection of living two-dimensional avian images. Each instance has zero volume, and occupies roughly a 10 cm x 5 cm two-dimensional space, with variation between individuals. Instances are docile and possess intelligence and social behavior typical of similar birds.
SCP-CN-1512-2 are empty packages of paper napkins produced by [REDACTED] Manufacturing Co. Ltd. The objects themselves are non-anomalous, but are contained as a fixed residence for SCP-CN-1512-1. Each box is able to contain three to five instances of SCP-CN-1512-1, although this varies based on the individual instances' size.
SCP-CN-1512-1 will typically be active in five of the six faces of the package, excluding the bottom, and will "flatten" branches obtained in the three-dimensional world into two dimensions through an unknown mechanism. After a certain amount of branches have been collected, non-anomalous three-dimensional pieces of paper will manifest within SCP-CN-1512-2; it is thought that these are the product of an anomalous process applied to the branches provided.
If the produced sheets of paper are not removed, the object will use them to construct structures of varying scale. In one case, it was observed that the object had created an exact replica of its own containment chamber.

In response to your request, the Department of Containment has completed the designs for a new containment device for SCP-CN-1512. The container has been tested and fulfils the provided requirements of shock-proofing, resistance to compression, and fire-resistance, and can safely protect the object. The device will be sent to and installed in the containment chamber within three working days.
