Special Containment Procedures: SCP-009-VN needs to be cared for in similar conditions as any other ordinary Felis catus instances. However, all personnel when in contact with the anomaly must use protective equipment, including but not limited to boots, gloves and masks, in order to minimize the anomalous effect from SCP-009-VN. In the case where a personnel directly contacts fur, body fluids, or SCP-009-VN itself, please present to the anomaly's supervisor at Site-29-VN for further instructions.
Description: SCP-009-VN is an orange Felis catus instance, with a body length of 80 cm and a mass of 3.2 kg. In terms of appearance, this instance is no different from other domestic cats.
SCP-009-VN's anomalous effect will emerge when an individual directly comes into contact with the anomaly, specifically by touching or petting it. This individual will immediately be transformed into a half-cat entity with certain body parts belonging to a random breed of cat. Before the anomalous effect takes place, subjects in contact with SCP-009-VN will become drowsy and fall into a state of unconsciousness for an hour maximum. The appearances of these subjects will return to their original state after around two to three hours, to which they will also become unconscious before such transformation.
The anomaly was first discovered at Site-29-VN on 24/12/2023.
Addendum 009-VN.1:
The following interview was conducted with Director Lương Thiên Phát, who was at the scene where the anomaly was first discovered.

Dr. Đặng: All right, from what we know, you had witnessed the entire incident since it started, correct?
Dir. Phát: That's right, I still remember clearly that, after finishing some morning work in Site-29-VN's meeting room, I saw researchers Hưng and Dương went inside the room to carry the TV out for the event and decided to go with them.
Dr. Đặng: Can you summarize what had happened?
Dir. Phát: If I'm not mistaken, people just started to party under the Christmas tree. Doctor Hưng and Manager Bình were having a blast and creating messes all over the table, while Doctor Ann was showing off some dog photos that she took to Agent Bình.
Dr. Đặng: So basically, it's just a normal end of year celebration?
Dir. Phát: It was supposed to be one, until they noticed that there was a cat crawling under their legs and revealing its belly as if asking for milk.
Dr. Đặng: A cat?
Dir. Phát: Yes, an orange cat, quite pretty for its amber eyes. And before I could react, everyone had already surrounded and petted it. They touched every inch of the cat, some even pressed their faces against its fur.
Dr. Đặng: You weren't among them, right? Since if you were, how could you manage to stay normal and report to the Foundation for back up?
Dir. Phát: I left the hall early to avoid my cat allergy acting up again.
Dr. Đặng: Thank you for your cooperation.

Dir. Thư: Someone gets this cat a cage.
Dr. Hưng: I have a cage where I intended to jail grummy Dương for Christmas Eve, let me go get it.
Dr. Piece: Hey, does anyone else feel sleepy?
Dr. Ann: Tell me one time you didn't feel sleepy.
Agent Hoàng: You'll be sick if you sleep here.

Agent Hoàng: I'll make you catch these hands.
<Agent Hoàng ran toward SCP-009-VN, but when stepping on an unidentified liquid on the floor, he fell to his back.>

Dr. Hưng: I got it, ouch it's scratching my face.
Agent Hoàng: Here, toss it in this cage.
Dr. Hưng: Hold on, there's something sticky on it.
Manager Bình: It's Suzu's tea, shit, I may get diabetes!!!
Dr. Hưng: Not just diabetes, death.
Agent Hoàng: Finally got you now!

Dir. Thư: Well, not quite. We had some problems regarding an anomaly yesterday night.
Dir. Bale: Oh, what is it?
Dir. Thư: A cat that transforms people into a half-cat when being touched. We didn't know how to solve this when everyone just fell asleep, and we just turned back to normal after woke up.
Dir. Bale: Is that so? I have a serious question though. Can I touch it right now?
