Dimble Wood is a location in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and its remake. It is the largest area in the game and a dense forest filled with many trees, rock formations, and a lot of stone statues of Wigglers. It is north of Plack Beach and east of Bumpsy Plains. It is first seen in the beginning of the game, being the area where Bowser is fed the "Lucky(?) Mushroom" by Fawful. This is the third area Bowser traverses and also one of the areas the Mario Bros. traverse later in the game. Broque Monsieur's shop located here where Bowser can shop and give Broque the Blitties he has found. This is where Bowser will obtain his first special attack, Goomba Storm, in this area. Bowser also fights Wiggler in this area as well as his castle in this area as a giant boss. Mario and Luigi also travel in this area to obtain the 10 Attack Pieces to form the Snack Basket. They must first collect six and show them to the Wiggler for access to the Sockop area (in the southwest), where they can find the remaining four.
Dimble Wood consists of four sections, with three side-sections. The main section is a forest full of trees, which Bowser goes through to reach his castle; in addition, there is also a small tutorial area to the northwest, where Bowser learns his basic moves and eats the "Lucky(?) Mushroom". The second section, to the northeast, consists of a large carrot farm owned by a family of a Wiggler and Squiggler, where Bowser competes in a minigame where he has to eat a giant carrot guarded by the Wiggler he pulled out of the giant hole, thinking it was big enough to use for ammunition in a Banzai Bill Cannon. After eating the carrot, Bowser must fight against the Wiggler in order to obtain a Banzai Bill that the Wiggler was taking care of in secret. The third section is full of thorns in the floor, located to the southwest, where Mario and Luigi can obtain some Attack Pieces.
In Bowser Jr.'s Journey , Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings (except for Lemmy) visit Dimble Wood to acquire a piece of the Giga-Carrot in order to create the Skeletone Formula:D. During this, Bowser Jr. loses most of the Koopalings from his crew, with Ludwig, Roy, Wendy and Larry leaving the group. Once Bowser Jr. finds the Giga-Carrot, he takes a bite out of it to take it back to Bowser's Castle. This bite mark is visible when Bowser first finds the Giga-Carrot himself in the main game, indicating these events happened prior to Bowser reaching Dimble Wood.

Prima Official Game Guide description[edit ]
- "Welcome to Dimble Wood, otherwise known as Bowser's kindling patch. Now that the Koopa King has his Fire Breath back, he can make short work of the trees that block his path in this patch of dense forest. Fiery belches are also excellent repellents for many of the Dimble denizens, such as the Treevils. These meanie trees wither under a few blasts of Bowser's hot breath. Dimble Wood is also home to Broque Monsieur's shop. The blockhead and his pup, Broggy, offer goods ranging from Gear to useful items, as long as Bowser has a few coins in his pocket to spend. Broque also cannot wait to tell Bowser about the Blitties, cute kitties that monsters around the Mushroom Kingdom have absconded with. And speaking of monsters, there's a rumor that the farm in these woods is under the supervision of a pretty sizeable pest. Hopefully, Bowser doesn't run afoul of the big bug. Wait a second, this is Bowser—of course he's going to run afoul of it. That's just what Bowser does."
- "With Bowser locked up and out of commission, Mario and Luigi must take point on the mission to stop Fawful. The pair of heroes must slip back out of Bowser via the Pipe Yard and set out for Plack Beach to discover the perch of the last Star Sage. Getting that last Star Cure requires a detour into Dimble Wood, though, where the Bros. are separated by the local wildlife. Although the Bros. are most powerful fighting together, individually thay are still forces to be reckoned with." (visit by Mario and Luigi)
