An ant[1] [2] [3] is a type of enemy in Super Mario Land 2 - 6 Golden Coins . Ants appear in only three levels—the Leaf Course of the Tree Zone and the Manhole Course and the Flower Course of the Macro Zone. Ants continuously walk from side to side and march into enemies to deal damage. In Manhole Course, Mario visits an ant nest, which features numerous ants with varying abilities, including Chikunto, Goronto, and Dokanto. A standard jump or a fireball is enough to defeat an ant.
