A Night Out
As the 00 trainees are trying to enjoy a night out, their phones alert them to a pop quiz of sorts. They suddenly have to meet with a contact, using a passphrase to receive information about their assignment. James is told to meet someone in red at the bar, so head over - it’s located ahead of you, through the large archway opposite from the DJ’s setup on stage.
As you pass through the entryway you’ll see a woman in a red dress, approach her to start a short cutscene where you attempt to use the passphrase to limited success.
Try again with the man in the red shirt at the corner of the bar to the left of the original woman.
This time you succeed and are directed to the restroom for more information with only the phrase "X marks the spot" to guide you.
To find the restroom, follow the bar away from your contact to the corner of the room, then turn right and head all the way down to the next corner, where you’ll see the restrooms.
Enter the door on the left, then open the stall door with an X graffitied across it.
Inside, you’ll find a cabinet you can interact with in order to receive a tablet with your assignment.
As you exit though, you’re accosted by the boyfriend of the woman in red from earlier.
It’s time to put your combat training to the test. Keep in mind his stance when he launches an attack, so you know whether to dodge or parry. If you grab him, throw him into the environment so he’s open to follow up attacks. Once you’ve dispatched the jealous boyfriend, head to the door to meet with one of your fellow trainees with whom you share an assignment, Nash. He lets you know that the target is in the VIP area, so you’ll need to figure out how to get up there.

| Type: Memento | Checkpoint: 05 Get Upstairs |
| After the bathroom beatdown, head back out to the main floor and toward the bar at the back of the venue. Sitting on the drink shelf behind the counter is the Cocktail Napkin. You'll want to use your Dart Phone to create a distraction, luring the left bartender away from the area to sneak back there. | |
| Ober of Bells | |
|---|---|
| Type: Playing Card | Checkpoint: 05 Get Upstairs |
| From the ground floor, sneak around behind the DJ and climb up the blue-marked crates until you reach the scaffolding overhead. Shimmy your way along until you reach the far end, near the balcony to the second floor. There, lying on the ground, is the Ober of Bells. | |
Get Upstairs
This grants access to the Objectives menu, allowing you to keep track of your goal and the many approaches you can take to reach it. In this case, you immediately have two hints, Above and Beyond and Staff Only. Before you leave the conversation, you can talk to Nash about these two paths for more details.
First, head back in the direction of the bar, retracing your steps from earlier. As you arrive at the first corner, you’ll see a woman on the phone with a blue symbol above her head.
This indicates an opportunity to eavesdrop for information, so take this chance to do so. This gives you access to another potential path, The Stamp.
If you continue making your way to the bar, through the archway across from the bar you can see another eavesdropping opportunity.
This provides another clue for the path Above and Beyond.
Above and Beyond
Using the clue we received from eavesdropping, we’ve learned that you can reach the balcony by climbing the light rig backstage. Getting there is another story, but there are two routes you can take. The first and easiest is to head to the right side of the stage, and sidle into the backstage area from the gap in the equipment.
The second method is to bluff your way past the security guard on the left side of the stage.
You can also use your Dart Phone to temporarily incapacitate them and walk through while they’re distracted.
If you’re low on your chemical resources, you can also hack the smoke machine next to security to disorient them so you can walk through in the chaos. We recommend just using the right side to get in, to avoid wasting any resources.
Once you’re in this backstage area, you can climb the blue boxes and the ledge up to the scaffolding hanging from the ceiling.
Climb up and jump across, then sidle across the first segment, walking through a narrow gap and switching sides when you’re halfway across. When you reach the end of the path, you can jump to the balcony and voila, you’re in!
Staff Only
This is one of the most direct routes to the VIP area upstairs. Head back to the bar and approach the door behind it on the right side. If you’re tracking the Staff Only path, it will be highlighted with a blue diamond. If there isn’t any staff around the door, you can sneak inside without much trouble.
If there is someone near the door, use your Dart Phone to temporarily disable them and head through before they recover, hurrying through the next step before they can follow you and kick you out.
Once in the backroom, close the door and run up the stairs to your left, at the end of the room.
Open the double doors on the left and head through the ascending stairs immediately to the left once through the doors. At the top of the stairs, turn right and enter the archway ahead of you to complete this path!
The Stamp
Once you’ve gotten the tip about the stamp from eavesdropping, head back to the restrooms. Up the stairs in front of the restroom is a line of people trying to get a stamp. Speak to the man on the right and use the name Jones to receive a stamp on your hand.
Next, head to the bar and turn left once you reach it; you’ll see a pair of security guards standing by the stairs leading up to the VIP area. Since you have the stamp, they’ll let you through, so head up the two staircases and turn right, heading through the archway to complete this path.
An alternate way to get your hand stamped is to steal it! From the bathroom, head down the hallway directly ahead of you, toward the first woman you eavesdropped on.
Along the way, there will be a door on your right-hand side. Enter this door, then head up the small staircase to a second door. Use your watch’s vision to ensure there isn’t an employee right on the other side of the door, then enter and crouch when they walk away from the door.
Once you’re in, sneak behind the racks of clothes to stay out of sight of the roaming employee, then use your Dart Phone on the employee next to the stamp. While he’s disoriented, and out of sight of the other employee, use the stamp to give yourself the handstamp needed to get into the VIP section.
Now leave this area, head to the bar and up the stairs to the left, passing the guards along the way. Once you’ve climbed both stairs, head through the archway on the right to complete this path.
The Proximity Hack
Once you’ve made it into the VIP section, you need to find Joshua Pike.
Using your Q-Lens, Joshua’s phone will be highlighted, so scan the area until you find him, then Hack his phone. If you need battery charge, there are some electronics scattered about the area that you can use to recharge your watch.
Once you’ve started the hack, you’ll need to maintain proximity to Pike in order to extract his phone’s data. You need to be fairly close, the range is only a few feet and you’ll be notified if you’re too far. Luckily, with the venue of choice, Pike won’t get suspicious even if you’re crowding him for the download, so stay right on his heels.
The woman in red will make another appearance at an inopportune moment. It’s up to you how you want to deal with her, neither option will result in failing your mission. When she’s gone, head over to Pike to restart the data extraction. Unfortunately, he’s entered a Very VIP section, so you’ll need to find a way past the security guard.
To the right of the archway to this section, you’ll find a table with a tray laden with drinks. If you pick it up, you can walk right past the guard, posing as table service. Alternatively, you can simply Dart the guard, leaving him too disoriented to deal with you.
You’ll be stopped on the way in, but James will talk his way through, giving you the time needed to finish the download. Exit the Very VIP section and regroup with Cressida on the other side of the raised dance floor.
Before you can celebrate a job well done, the group wants to act on the intel immediately to intercept a deal.
Get Rid of Pike
The first step is to find a place to trap Pike. From the balcony, look to the corner immediately to your right. If you entered this area via the Stamp or Staff Entrance, this is the same archway through which you entered.
Head through it and open the double doors at the end of the hall, and the single door beyond. Once you’ve entered this room, James is satisfied that it’ll serve their purposes.
Now you have to find Pike, who can be found on the dance floor.
Once again, using Q-Lens will help you spot him with a large blue dot making him. Approach him and speak with him to get him to follow, and lead him to the room you picked, then follow the prompt to sabotage the door.
Meet Contact
With Pike out of the way, meet Cressida at the stairs leading downstairs. As you regroup, it falls on James to meet with the contact after all.
You need to head to the meeting room, a room halfway between the restrooms and the bar, with the door indicated by the blue diamond marker. Head inside and meet Pike’s contact in the far corner on the left side of this room.
During this meeting your goal is to get her to contact her boss, so you can pick whatever dialogue options sound best to you, there’s no combination that will end in failure. Unfortunately, the woman in red makes yet another appearance. Once you’ve dealt with her, once again picking whatever options you like, the contact will try to bail. You can convince her here, but even if you don’t, she’ll contact her superior, so you succeed no matter what, congratulations!
Now you just need to extract; head to the small archway just to the right of the DJ stage to leave the club. As you attempt to leave, you’re stopped by the most annoying boyfriend in the world. Fight him and his friends, with Monroe backing you up. Throw them at the stage to take them out quickly. Once they’re beaten, you and Monroe will head outside, only to find Greenway and the other recruits waiting for you. Before he can chastise you, he receives an important call, and you and the recruits all receive a message setting an early morning meeting with M, bringing the chapter to a close and leading directly into the next one.
A Matter of Considerable Delicacy
M gathers the trainees back to her office to reveal that a rogue agent has reappeared on MI6’s radar. The agent, 009, disappeared a decade ago but has reappeared attempting to make a deal. M wants to use this opportunity to test the trainees while tasking them with capturing 009.
Bond is held behind to receive an extra earful about missing the extraction period during the Nightclub assignment.
Afterwards, head out of the office and down the hallway to the right, where Monroe is waiting for you. Follow him to the elevator, down to Q lab.
You can stay and listen to Cressida and Monroe chat after stepping off the elevator, but you need to speak with Q in the nearest right-hand corner of the room, in a section known as Wearables. If you ask someone about his location, it’ll be marked with the blue diamond marker.
You’ll find Q in front of a rack of jackets, ready to give James his uniform for the upcoming assignment.
| Dagger Shoes | |
|---|---|
| Type: Legacy Item | Checkpoint: 03 Field Equipment |
| After the cutscene in which Bond receives his disguise assignment for the next mission from Q, you'll note the Dagger Shoes sitting on the table directly in front of you. | |
After the cutscene, follow Q to room Q-02 to test your newest gadget; speak to Q in Gadget Testing to begin. When he finishes explaining, pick up the camera and activate it on Arthur, the test subject.
These shockwaves can be used to knock enemies away, or destroy parts of the environment, like doors or weakened walls.
Moving to the desk to the right, you’re introduced to another device, the smoke grenade. Pick up the one on the desk and follow the onscreen prompt to throw it to immediately create a large cloud of smoke to obscure vision.
Once you’re done testing the pair of gadgets, head to the desk on the left side of the room and pick two gadgets to bring along. This is slightly misleading, since your Q-Watch always comes along, so you actually get three gadgets. We recommend bringing the Smoke Pod, since it’s good for obscuring enemy sight and our focus is on stealth. Our second pick is the Dart Phone, because the Shockwave Camera potentially attracts too much attention.
When you’ve picked your gadgets, return to the elevator and head to the Operations floor by entering and activating the button labeled Operations.
When you step out of the elevator, a man named Bancroft will point you to Moneypenny’s pod in the back of the room.
| Arrowhead Report | |

| Type: Intel | Checkpoint: 07 Operations |
| Upon exiting the elevator to see Moneypenny on the Operations floor, turn around and head down the hall behind the elevators. There's a desk with a sigil on a screen above it, and sitting on that desk is the Arrowhead Report. | |
Entering the room starts another cutscene involving Moneypenny and Greenway discussing 009’s true plans.
Before you speak to Moneypenny, be sure to check her desk for a collectible, 009’s profile.

| Type: Intel | Checkpoint: 08 Master Manipulator |
| Following the short cutscene involving Greenway and Moneypenny, enter the latter's office, and you'll find the 009 Profile Intel sitting on her desk. | |
Then, speak to Moneypenny to receive your mission briefing. Before you head off to your mission, you can ask her about a few topics, like 009 and the recruits. Once you’ve exhausted your dialogue options, or when you’re done learning, you can select to head out to the mission.
You’ll be joined by the other recruits as you receive the mission briefing. You’re to head to a hotel hosting a chess tournament and meet with 009. This brings the chapter to its close as the briefing segues into the start of the next chapter, All the Time in the World.
