Just today, most Wikimedia sites banned by GFW for me, include meta-wiki and mediawiki.org, I must using proxy to access their sites. Because I am a mediawiki developer and this time has affected most of the sites, it is very troublesome to request for an ip block exempt one by one. I often use my computer under public WiFi environment so I have to use proxy or VPN to encrypt and secure my connections. Very recently, I have been getting quite a lot of the failed attempts to log in messages. Since the computer that I use is shared among some other people, I would like to use 2FA to secure my account. I have had hundreds of failed log-in attempts to my account. I think this is because I created the article [[Rami Hamdallah], which relates to a sensitive issue, the Israel-Palestinian conflict. I want to feel secure and continue contributing. I have read Help:2FA.
