interactive menu controls on node add

Posted by alexkb on May 20, 2012 at 10:27am

Hey again people, just wondering if anyone's aware of a more user friendly method for controlling the menu item weight (sort order) when creating or editing a node.

The current method involves setting the number weight from a drop down, but how does an editor know the exact weight of the other items in the menu to accurately position the menu item. Am I missing something obvious here (it's happened before!).

For those who have not been following along with the CVS -> Git migration progress, this post contains important information for you to be aware of.

Things that we know:

  • Once Git launches, anyone with a Drupal.org account will be able to commit code to Drupal.org.

Contributed Modules Used by the British Columbia Public Service's Intranet (@Work)

Posted by bluebirdgov on July 21, 2010 at 8:51pm

The BC Public Service, an organization of 30,000 employees across an immense province, relaunched its corporate intranet in April 2010. In just 50 working days from development to production, a tiny team built an interactive intranet to support employee communications and collaboration. This work was completed within the existing site budget using an open-source platform.

These are some of the modules we used:

Lost in geo space: combining location and mapping modules to build a custom solution

Posted by weder on January 15, 2010 at 3:37pm

Hi all,

I've been enabling and disabling geo, location, geocoding and mapping modules for the last couple of days, but have not been able to find a combination allowing me implementing this with Drupal 6:

  1. a user should be able to either enter a new location by searching with its name and/or address, OR
  2. by pinpointing it on a map.

Path 1. Searching by name and/or address
- The search should start with a simple text field. The user enters a name of a place and maybe its address or parts of it.

A module that saves the state of Drupal's collapsible fieldsets.

Posted by jrockowitz on March 12, 2009 at 3:57pm

I figured my first attempt at a custom and hopefully contributed module should be something that is simple and usable, while a little bit challenging.

I love the simplicity of the FAPI collapsible fieldset but I was disappointed that it didn't remember whether I wanted it to be collapsed or open. So this is my attempt at fixing that problem.

Modulo Page Lang

Posted by cay on February 10, 2009 at 2:45pm
