Purpose:

For smaller businesses and non-profit organisations, migrating from Drupal 6 to 7 (or 8) would represent a significant investment, quite possibly with little or no tangible benefit. However, Drupal 6 will very soon be unmaintained, meaning no further security updates, bug fixes or enhancements. The same is likely to happen to third party modules.

Last Wednesday I gave a presentation at OxDUG on how we did a recent site build of Love Food Hate Waste (LFHW) and its subsidiary sites.

Could someone explain what is happening here? I have a content type that is a part of content profile. It has a numeric field "latest" that I am trying to update every time the user saves a value in another regular content type "miles" via a field called "miles_record." So when "miles" content is saved, I want to update the content profile field "latest." Rules does not seem to allow this.

I am trying to do the following:

On Event: Saving New content
And created content is: miles (this is the CT for entering "miles_record" filed values)

Hi, I have a Website that displays a catalog for the US market. I am currently looking at expanding it to Europe and Asia and need to be able to do the following things:
(1) Translate the content of the catalog (this seems to be fairly straight forward);
(2) Some items from the catalog will only appear in predefined locations. (I.e. an item could be available in the US but not in Europe).

Also, this will not be an open Website. I.e. I will create all the user accounts and would like to specify which catalog a person will have access to.

I want to add a workflow for unpublished content using Rules.
scenario is like this:

1.The normal user can request to unpublish content.

2.A mail wiil go to admin & editor that "xyz content is pending for unpublish"

3.Admin will review it & whtever action will take.

Now here in point 1, I want to create an event " request for unpublish content"

Hello all,

Drupal 7 has been out for a while now. Lots of great stuff in this most recent version! Although it has been out for a while I have been reluctant to upgrade many of my sites due to many contributed modules playing catch up. Just recently I have began some greenfield projects using the Drupal 7 system, so far so good.

I'm working on putting my intranet pass-on installation up in an installation profile. It should be coming soon!

I use a view to show a list of nodes flagged by a global flag (any user, any language) and would like to return only current language related nodes. any idea?
