Bien... para poner en contexto.
Tengo un sitio basado en Drupal 7 en desarrollo, al cual estoy tratando de aplicarle todas las best-practices posibles para desarrollarlo.

Tengo un repositorio git conectado a un servicio de CI que dispara un script de integración en el servidor de producción por cada push a master. En este script hago cosas como:

• el git pull al directorio con el código fresco.
• borrar caches
• comandos drush para reversiones de features y updates de BD de los módulos.
• comandos drush para descargar traducciones frescas de l10n_update.

Este sábado se va a hacer un sprint de traducciones para tratar de que drupal 8 salga completamente traducido al español.

El sprint se está organizando en España pero se puede participar por IRC para coordinar las tareas. Este es el evento: https://groups.drupal.org/node/402463.

En hora local sería desde las 6:00 hasta las 14:00 (no hace falta estar desde el comienzo supongo). Creo que es medio tarde para organizar una sede local, pero igual los que quieran participar por IRC aprovechen que es una buena oportunidad de contribuir con drupal con tareas que están al alcance de todos.

Tras la propuesta lanzada en la I Drupal Ladder en Sevilla creo este post para que veamos cómo tratar la propuesta de fork de proyecto drupalladder.org "Spanish Drupal Ladder".

So far, in Drupal 7 and contributed module "internationalization" 7.x-1.7, "internationalisation" usually means one, site-wide, original language translated into different languages, which is a very centralised kind of internationalization.

In Drupal 8, will it be possible to have different original languages in one web site?

We've done Spanish and Portugese multi-lingual Drupal sites, but now have a client that needs a stand-alone Chinese version of the Drupal site we built.

Anyone with experience in converting a Drupal site from English to Chinese?

May need some freelance help with this one.

Also looking to spin out a Korean and Japanese version, but these are much less of a priority.
