Shutterstock_1520233316 On July 21st, after less than a month of debate, the Spanish Congress approved the ‘riders’ law’, which presumes riders to be employees entitled to access to work-regulating algorithms, without any amendments to the initial government proposal. Enterprises were given three months to adjust to the legislation, which officially entered into force on August 12th.

去る7月21日、1か月足らずの審議を経て、スペイン国会は「ライダー法」を承認したが、これは当初の政府案に何ら修正を加えることなく、ライダーに作業を規制するアルゴリズムへのアクセスの権利のある労働者と推定するものである。プラットフォーム企業は8月12日の施行日から法に適合するために3か月の猶予がある。

ここのところ、欧州各国の最高裁でこれっらプラットフォーム労働者の労働者性を認める判決が相次いでいること、欧州委員会が労働者性を推定するプラットフォーム労働指令案を準備していること、などこの問題の展開は早いですが、この記事は日本にあまり伝わらないスペインの近況を詳しく伝えてくれます。
