グローバル・バリューチェーンにおけるサプライヤーの役割 (2018_2_40_005)
概要
The purpose of this project is to produce a collection of papers that provide new theoretical and empirical insights into the roles that suppliers play in the global value chains (GVCs). By engaging in in-depth investigation of the evolution of selected sectors over time in which suppliers played active roles and synthesising these and other empirical studies with relevant theoretical literature, it seeks to shed light on the conditions under which supplier increase returns from innovation and reconfigure value chain governance. By so doing, the project attempts to challenge the conventional GVC literature that has regarded suppliers as passive and subordinate actors in the face of overwhelming power exercised by lead firms.
