実験5494-RE-01
日付: 1942年05月24日

目的: SCP-5494の食嗜好を把握する。

仮説: SCP-5494個体は、突然変異したヒョウやピューマ、オオヤマネコに類似している。このため、リーゼレッハ博士は、個体らの食事は海岸線で捕獲される周辺環境に生息する大小両方の餌動物で構成されているのではないかと考えた。

手順: 暫定サイト-43の近くにある湖に野生の鹿を1頭放つ。

観測: SCP-5494個体が出現し、鹿を無視して給餌班を消費した。

結論: SCP-5494はヒト科の食物源を好む。

仮説: オジ・クリー/アニシナベ族の長老たちが、一人の子供がSCP-5494の役割を担い、他の子供たちを水中に引きずり込もうとする遊びについて説明した。リーゼレッハ博士は、この文化的慣習(現在はカナダ連邦法により違法)を理解していることを示すことで、SCP-5494を喜ばせることができるのではないかと考えた。
