Description: SCP-ES-199 was the designation of a transdimensional anomaly (see the previous version of this document) neutralized during exposure to a TPP instance.
The following is an interview conducted with a SCP-ES-199-2 instance during the N#53 and N#62 tests:

Inter.: Hello, SCP-ES-199-1.
Alpha: You are talking to me, aren't you?
Inter.: Indeed. I have some questions for you.
Alpha: Oh, sure. You can ask.
Inter.: First, what's your name and where did you come from?
Alpha: Rosario, I am from where we all come from.
Inter.: Were you born to someone of your own kind?
Alpha: I was born from the earth.
Inter.: Earth? Are you talking about the planet or… the earth?
Alpha: I come from what used to be sterile. I was born of the suffering of those who regretted helping. I arose from the crying of midnight and noon when its conjunction does the nothingness.
Inter.: I do not understand, were you born out from scratch?
Alpha: We came from your world. During the Great Dark War. We got rid of much of that-which-does-not-exist-nor-can-be-grasped-by-mortals.
Inter.: What is it that-which-does-not-exist? Is it a subject? Or a thing?
Alpha: It is a force, a never-ending spiral, that expands and returns to its origin.
Inter.: Did you say that there was a war?
Alpha: Yes, at the time our plane was imaginary. But we were able to evolve, and we almost managed to do something against the Pattern, but it was too much. It absorbed the light and it was reflected in our hearts. We said it at that time, we are more than just healers. Our mission is to protect whoever lives, whoever has a fulfilling life, because the Pattern lives, and never rests.
Inter.: The Pattern?
Alpha: Yes. At the end of the battle, we were thrown into the soundless sound, and reborn as we are. A place to cure the ailments of normality. So that everyone can be one, cheerful, after all. Because we do not want them, at the end of their lives, when they are devoured, to be devoured with hatred. No, that would make it bigger.
Inter.: I think I know what you are talking about, but how did you get into our world?
Alpha: Thanks to you. We felt your turmoil, and as soon as you opened that hole, we launched the cloud. We had no doubt, but we really did not care where it ended, we just wanted to get there and help. To help everything that was not the Pattern. Because it has been doomed and portrayed as something that only someone with a desire to have fun can create.
Inter.: So do you say this is pure luck?
Alpha: Probably.
Inter.: Tell me, what about those carrion birds that are always around?
Alpha: Those birds are your affliction.
Inter.: Our affliction?
Alpha: The portrayal of that which has been removed from your abnormal heads.
Inter.: Why do they exist?
Alpha: Do you want to know why this place shifts every three years?
Inter.: Yes.
Alpha: All of us, we are the product of your minds. We have anchored ourselves in the mentality of those who speak your tongue because the word is the razor that can be superimposed on your head. Enter, and break bones, and find ideas. It is more than a symbol, it is a set of ideas that, when brought together, must break that shell, that membrane that beckons the resistance of wisdom. The incomprehension.
Inter.: You mean all of you are common ideas of one person? Or many?
Alpha: We are a concept that can only be conceived when someone says so. And that's what the cloud did, to find out if this concept could materialize. That we are like this is mere chance. The 3 years are a coincidence.
Inter.: I see, one more question. Regarding the Pattern, do you think you can detect the Pattern and cure it?
Alpha: In the past, with all our resources, we could barely stand against the Pattern healing him. And we made some progress, but if we were to face him today, I would not know what would happen. I am not saying it for myself, I am saying it for my comrades. What-exists-in-non-existence should not be learnt, because we do not know its side effects. We do not really know if a new exposure to neutral hatred could… make us disappear. Well, we are a by-product from the Pattern. I can almost feel the screams, screams in a row, or curling. In the darkness of unreality. I do not want to scream in patterns, please.
