Description: SCP-CN-678 is an anomalous phenomenon that occurs in apparently random times and places. It usually occurs when two human individuals with good relations are involved in communication, including video chats and psychological suggestion. SCP-CN-678 exhibits its anomalous property as: One human individual is converted to SCP-CN-678-1, and kills the other communicating individual in a [DATA EXPUNGED] manner. Then, it proceeds to and disappears in the nearest blind spot which is not directly watching by a human or by a surveillance camera. Normally, the phenomenon takes places close to its target, but the possibility of remote occurrence can not be excluded.
The distinguishing feature of SCP-CN-678-1 is that its eyeball is completely replaced by a black matter, the corners of its mouth are torn to the ear, its mouth is completely black with sparse and tiny white teeth. SCP-CN-678-1 mostly displays a smile. The converting process cannot be observed due to the fact that no individual is directly looking at the target, and the few observations indicate that SCP-CN-678-1 has already possessed the above-mentioned features at the beginning of the recorded video.
Because of the suddenness and randomness of SCP-CN-678, none direct surviving witness is found so far. All records are confirmed by videos.

An SCP-CN-678 event occurred in the street of ████████. After an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) controlled by MTF-Θ-2 ("Stranger") sprayed amnestics, Θ-2-1 began to recover the corpse. In the meantime, the UAV began the tracking of SCP-CN-678-1.
The UAV observed SCP-CN-678-1 running into an alley, and it kept the target in the field of view as it entered the alley. The alley went to a dead end; SCP-CN-678-1 ran to the end and then returned, running to the exit. Along the way, it remained facing the UAV and smiled.
After leaving the alley, SCP-CN-678-1 turned and entered a nearby restaurant. The UAV spread amnestics to witnesses and continued following the target, keeping it in the field of view.
SCP-CN-678-1 entered the restroom of the restaurant and attempted to close the door, however, the UAV follows into the restroom. At this time, the UAV was controlled by the anomaly, who stopped moving and kept staring at the UAV's camera hole for 1 minute and 13s. Then, the anomaly disappeared and emerged 20cm right in front of Θ-2-1 who had been monitoring the UAV. It faced Θ-2-1 and smiled.
Θ-2-1 immediately recoiled and pulled out their gun, shooting 3 shots at SCP-CN-678-1. SCP-CN-678-1 was not hit, and it ignored Θ-2-1 as it ran down the stairs of a nearby building. At this point, the tracking of SCP-CN-678-1 failed.
