Item #: SCP-CN-237

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-CN-237-01 and SCP-CN-237-02 are contained within Site-CN-20. The objects are permitted to freely roam within Site-CN-20's garden containment zone, and are fitted with tracking devices to ensure they remain under Foundation watch. Non-Class-D personnel are permitted to interact with the objects, but may not feed them any food or water from a source not approved by the containment team. Any suggestions regarding the objects' containment is to be directed to Dr. Kai Yi's mailbox.

Description: SCP-CN-237-01 is a male Wenchang chicken. Its current form and behavior essentially correspond to those of a month-old Wenchang chicken. SCP-CN-237-01 constantly produces a systematic series of cries identical to its ordinary call, which have been determined to be Morse code for the digits of the circle constant pi. While this sound is identical to its ordinary call, it does not affect SCP-CN-237-01's call, but is pronounced from the chest cavity. Imprinted onto one of the feathers of its right wing is the text "A gift to the world", visible under high magnification. Currently, SCP-CN-237-01 is currently at the ██████th decimal place of pi.

SCP-CN-237-02 is a male Wenchang chicken. Its current form and behavior essentially correspond to those of a month-old Wenchang chicken. SCP-CN-237-02 constantly produces a systematic series of cries identical to its ordinary call, which have been determined to be Morse code for the digits of Euler's constant e. While this sound is identical to its ordinary call, it does not affect SCP-CN-237-02's call, but is pronounced from the cranial cavity. Imprinted onto one of the feathers of its left wing is the text "A gift to the world", visible under high magnification. Currently, SCP-CN-237-02 is currently at the ██████th decimal place of e.

SCP-CN-237 was handed over to the Foundation for containment by Dr. Kai Yi in 19██. Dr. Kai Yi indicated that he had received SCP-CN-237 as a gift from a relative while visiting family. Foundation agents investigated the area in accordance with the provided information, but did not find any similar anomalies in any chickens born at the same time in the region.
