Item #: SCP-CN-2008
Object Class: Euclid Neutralized
Special Containment Procedures: The Foundation positioning system is to be used to locate SCP-CN-2008. When SCP-CN-2008 is located, personnel are to be dispatched to explore its interior.
Sector-CN-023 has been constructed around SCP-CN-2008 in order to contain it.
Description: SCP-CN-2008 is a clay hut, with a square footprint 4 m on a side. At irregular intervals, SCP-CN-2008 will move to a new, random location on the Earth's surface. (For recorded locations, see Addendum CN-2008.)
SCP-CN-2008 has been observed to only manifest in sparsely populated areas, such as the interior of deserts, uninhabited islands, or in the middle of mountain ranges. It is suspected that SCP-CN-2008 possesses sapience.
SCP-CN-2008's wall is 0.9 m thick. Its east side has a door, which is 0.7 m thick, 2 m tall, and 1 m wide, made of titanium alloy. A small metal plaque above the door reads "SCP Foundation Area-01"; a damaged copy of the Mona Lisa is hung on the wall. Its south face is a solid wall; however, a human of indeterminate gender, 2.1 m tall, has been embedded in the wall, and a 0.86 m tall, 0.8 m x 0.8 m wide wooden dining table is attached to it. Its west face is a solid wall, with burn marks. 2.3 m above the ground is a red letter "Ω", 1.15 m in radius. Inside the symbol is a red "XXIII", which is painted in human blood, which DNA testing has revealed to be that of Thomas Carter. Its north face has a 1 m tall, 0.98 m wide, 0.1 m thick bulletproof glass window 1 m from the ground. The ceiling is 0.4 m thick, and is composed of hard metal alloy containing tungsten and cobalt; in addition, black paint in a pattern similar to mold is painted on its top. In the interior is a 1 m tall tungsten carbide pillar, 0.5 m in radius, with five anticlockwise-upward engravings surrounding it.
A 1.4cm thick layer of dust is present within SCP-CN-2008.
Update 1960年05月05日: SCP-CN-2008 moved to eastern Taiwan in 1966. No further movements have been made; the object is thought to be neutralized.
