A living instance of SCP-CN-1089.
Item #: SCP-CN-1089
Object Class: Euclid
Speical Containment Procedures: Currently, eight living instances of SCP-CN-1089 have been retrieved and are contained in an isolated subspace containment unit in Zone C-5 of Site-CN-03. No objects with a Threat Level of or above Yellow may be contained within 100 m of these units. Mobile Task Force 丙寅-24 ("Fat Cat Vacuuming Party") are to be stationed at near the units containing SCP-CN-1089 to handle any possible containment breaches. All personnel entering or leaving the containment units are to undergo the and . WIth the exception of members of MTF-丙寅-24, all personnel must obtain the collective approval of three members of Level 3 staff before entering the containment unit. MTF-丙寅-24 has been granted permission to execute any group or individual attempting to enter the containment unit without approval. All SCP-CN-1089 instances found in the wild are to be first temporarily contained in their original location in accordance with Section 124 of the Retrieval Handbook, after which the nearest Foundation outpost is to be contacted. Temporary containment is to be maintained until the transfer vehicle arrives; if during this process non-Foundation personnel witness the anomaly, the use of aerosolized Class B or higher amnestics is authorized. In special circumstances, temporary containment staff may receive authorization to execute civilians that witness the anomaly.
Description: SCP-CN-1089 is the collective designation for an anomalous species of wildcat (Felis silvestris catus). When an instance of SCP-CN-1089 consumes food, all matter within a spherical area of 30 m radius centered on the instance will slowly revolve around it. All such matter will then be consumed by the instance, despite the fact that instances' digestive systems are identical to those of non-anomalous wildcats. 5 to 12 hours after consuming food, the object's anus will relax and a large volume of small SCP-CN-1089 instances will be excreted. If this process is not interfered with, this process will rapidly result in an NK-Class end-of-the-world scenario. The biological structure, anomalous qualities, and body proportions of the excreted instances will be identical to other instances of SCP-CN-1089.
The skin of SCP-CN-1089 instances is difficult to damage using conventional means, and the species' life cycle is significantly longer than that of ordinary wildcats. When any SCP-CN-1089 instance is attacked, surrounding SCP-CN-1089 instances will approach the attacker at high speed and use their bodies to bludgeon the attacker until they are immobilized. Under these circumstances, a beam of red light of diameter 1.2 cm will be emitted from each instance's eyes; entities caught in this beam will rapidly lose all vital signs, and their remains will then form into new instances of SCP-CN-1089.

Recovery Log
Recovery Date: 2017年07月11日
Recovery Location: 3█°██′N, 1██°██E, northwestern part of the East China Sea
Recovery Personnel: All staff of the SCPS Nanfeng battle cruiser
<Begin Recording>
00:00:01 Personnel aboard the SCPS Nanfeng observe a large floating object on the port side.
00:01:34 The SCPS Nanfeng departs from its original route to approach the object.
00:21:21 The SCPS Nanfeng approaches the object, noting that its surface is colored an indiscernible mix of red and white.
00:29:43 The SCPS Nanfeng drops anchor 0.8 nautical miles from the floating object. A small-scale retrieval vessel is dispatched to retrieve the object.
The following section is recorded by the retrieval vessel
It can be seen that the floating object is primarily composed of fish meat and bones, with objects resembling the decks of small maritime vessels in some areas.
00:45:32 The retrieval vessel nests abeam with the object. A large quantity of entities, composed of flesh in the shape of felines, begin to climb on the surface of the object, some of which approach the retrieval vessel.
00:49:21 Retrieval personnel disembark to retrieve three dormant specimens, which are thought to be dead.
01:11:01 The anomaly begins to attack the retrieval personnel, two of which are killed.
01:23:55 The retrieval vessel retreats from the object and signals for help from the SCPS Nanfeng.
01:50:31 The retrieval vessel returns to the SCPS Nanfeng.
The following section is recorded by the SCPS Nanfeng
02:27:44 Researchers carry out preliminary analysis and determine that the collected specimens have lost all anomalous properties.
02:30:12 The SCPS Nanfeng raises its anchor and begins to approach the floating object.
02:35:01 The instances on the floating object approach the SCPS Nanfeng and attempt to board the ship.
02:40:09 Armed personnel begin attacking the instances boarding the ship.
02:51:10 The boiler room of the SCPS Nanfeng is damaged; water begins to flow into the engine room.
03:55:00 The SCPS Nanfeng begins to sink, with many cabins on its lowest floor completely submerged.
04:12:53 Lifeboats are deployed; some personnel begin to evacuate.
04:21:02 The captain declares that all personnel are to abandon the ship. Parts of the vessel begin to violently explode.
04:32:21 Contact between the Foundation East China Sea Maritime Command and the SCPS Nanfeng is lost.
<End Recording>
Note: The SCPS Nanfeng was discovered three days later with most of the crewmembers who remained on the ship missing; only a few survivors were successfully recovered. The main structure of the SCPS Nanfeng was completely lost, with some of the anomalous instances remaining on the deck. Mobile Task Force 丙寅-04 ("Return of the Swallows") carried out emergency retrieval of these instances; the remains of the SCPS Nanfeng were retrieved and are temporarily stored in Zone C-1 of Site-CN-03.
