Item #: SCP-999-KO
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Currently, there are no devised methods to contain SCP-999-KO. Establishing containment methods for SCP-999-KO is of top priority. MTF Unit Yota-7 ("You're it") tracks the subject.
Description: SCP-999-KO is a humanoid entity that disguises itself as a "containment research doctor". It operates in all facilities within the Foundation, presumed to include potential future Foundation facilities. It is impossible to distinguish the subject during its operation, and it disappears when the designated object is contained. SCP-999-KO resumes activity shortly after disappearance. The exact time points are unknown. Anomalous instances designated to SCP-999-KO were all successfully contained by SCP-999-KO unless disturbed. It is not possible to retrieve the list of objects contained by SCP-999-KO.
Its objectives are unknown, but it enters the Foundation through "legitimate methods", obtains a Level 4 security clearance, and contains instances. Interviews suggest the possibility that SCP-999-KO generates its own anomalous entities.
Addendum: Interview Log 999-KO-A
Interview Subject: Agent ██████
Interviewer: Dr C████████
Foreword: Agent ██████ temporarily contained by Dr ████████. He realised the doctor is SCP-999-KO during an experiment with SCP-███-KO.
<Start of Log>
Dr Dr C████████: No need for introductions. Take a seat.
Agent ██████: Okay.
Dr Dr C████████: (Brings out a piece of paper and prepares to write.) Right, let's start this interview. You are Agent ██████, right?
Agent ██████: Yes.
(Brief questioning of personal details follow.)
Dr Dr C████████: How did you find out the doctor is SCP-999-KO? I mean, why did you have your suspicions? No records are remaining, but we know he was very efficient. Moreover, you worked with him as his partner.
Agent ██████: (Closes his eyes deep in thought, before rubbing his face with his hands.) I don't know. It's that… Phew, excuse me.
Dr C████████: It's okay. Take your time.
Agent ██████: Right, we discovered an instance of SCP-███-KO. I was with Dr ████████. He was thrilled, as he fulfilled his life purpose. He jumped the couch as if he was born to contain SCP-███-KO. I started noticing something was off when the experiment started.
Dr C████████: You mean the experiment to contain SCP-███-KO.
Agent ██████: Yes, he was excellent. How could I put this? It was like he knew the SCP all along. Every experiment he did was "perfect", conducting the least amount of experiments while getting the most results. Of course one might say he's just a genius, but the point was his methodology.
Dr C████████: Methodology?Agent ██████: He drew conclusions from SCP instances we knew nothing about. We had no idea that- (Sighs, and catches his breath) That was when I realised we brought in a mundane object believing it was an SCP.
Dr C████████: Huh? What do you mean "mundane"?
Agent ██████: The more I think about it, the more we didn't know anything about its capabilities; why did we think it was an SCP instance and try to run tests on it? Also, the abilities that Dr ████████ proposed were becoming real as the experiment progressed. SCP-███-KO was gradually becoming an SCP instance.
Dr C████████: (Taps his pen on the table, slightly stirred)…
Agent ██████: It was like we were making an SCP instance of our own.Subject continuously blames himself.
Dr C████████: The interview is over. Thank you.
<End of Log>
Conclusion: Investigation on SCP-███-KO showed that its origins were unclear. Agent ██████ suffers from severe depression from the guilt. He is currently under protection as a key witness.
Addendum: O5-██'s opinion on SCP-999-KO
We don't know how he came to the Foundation. He might be researching in the Foundation at this very moment. He is completely unrelated to us O5s. We don't know why such hearsay is happening, but we do not know nor control SCP-999-KO. In contrast, he might be a tool from another organisation. We must be vigilant.
It is clear that SCP-999-KO is helping the Foundation, but it is an anomalous instance nonetheless. He is not a Foundation personnel nor a human. SCP-999-KO must be secured and contained. We must take any measures necessary to come about ways to secure and contain him. The subject is NOT a Foundation personnel.
Addendum: The missing of Dr C████████
Dr C████████'s records disappeared, and he went missing shortly after. He is SCP-999-KO, and the doctor responsible for SCP-999-KO. - Dr Y████████
Item #: SCP-999-KO
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: MTF Unit Yota-7("You're it") is to be known as responsible for tracking SCP-999-KO. MTF Unit Yota-5 ("Hair in the sink") abducts Foundation personnel (referred to as SCP-999-KO-1) that fit the following criteria.
- Joined after SCP-999-KO ceased activity
- Obtained Level 4 Security Clearance
- Designated for the research of anomalous instance containment
- Requested additional research for contained anomalous instances
- Ethnically Asian
If the abducted SCP-999-KO-1 becomes SCP-999-KO, it will cease activity and be classified as contained. If the subject does not become inactive, it will be detained until SCP-999-KO appears, and during this time, training under Operation "C, lank" is conducted. If SCP-999-KO's inactivity is reported, all detained personnel will be released.
Since relatively few personnel within the Foundation meet the criteria for SCP-999-KO, MTF Unit Yota-5 may exclusively handle the containment. In emergencies, Mobile Task Forces Yota-4 and Yota-6 must halt all activities and support Yota-5 upon request.
Description: SCP-999-KO is a humanoid entity that disguises itself as a "containment research doctor". It operates in all facilities within the Foundation, presumed to include potential future Foundation facilities. It relies on the Foundation command chain for its operation It is impossible to distinguish the subject during its operation, difficult to distinguish the subject as its appearance and gender changes upon each operation, but they are commonly all of Asian descent matching the criteria. Such individuals are designated as SCP-999-KO-1 (refer to containment procedures) and it disappears when the designated object is contained or when it its wellbeing is threatened. SCP-999-KO resumes activity shortly after disappearance. The exact time points are unknown thought to be when a new personnel obtains a Level 4 Security Clearance after its disappearance. Anomalous instances designated to SCP-999-KO were all successfully contained by SCP-999-KO unless disturbed. The list of anomalous objects contained by the subject is as follows:
- [DATA EXPUNGED]
- SCP-███-KO
- SCP-███-KO
- SCP-███-KO
- SCP-███-KO
- SCP-███-KO
- [DATA EXPUNGED]

- SCP-███-KO
- SCP-███-KO
- SCP-███-KO
- SCP-999-KO
Its objectives are unknown, but it enters the Foundation through "legitimate methods", obtains a Level 4 security clearance, and contains instances. Interviews suggest the possibility that SCP-999-KO generates its own anomalous entities.
Addendum: MTF Unit Yota-5 Containment Activity Report
Initial Containment Report
Date: ██-██-19██
Process: Attempted abduction for Dr A█████, the containment research doctor for SCP-███ in Site-██. After shots were fired by Agent ██████, a skirmish happened. Dr A█████ was shot and disappeared.
Results: Containment sucessful. Researcher █████, MTF Agents ████ ██████ and ███████ were killed. MTF Agent ██████ was injured.
Notes: Foundation defense system needs to be enhanced. Requiring support for the site.
O5-██'s opinion: Requet denied. The subject's containment procedure must be kept classified. Continue the containment activity, even if there are casualties.
Second Containment Report
Date: ██-██-19██
Process: The containment research doctor in Site-██ and the containment research doctor for SCP-███ in Site-██ were abducted and detained. Five more attempts did not discover SCP-999-KO. The sites started investigation about the missing doctors. Expecting heightened security.
Results: Contaiment suspended. Devising a better method. We will continue to execute the containment protocol. Awaiting orders for the treatment of detained personnel.
O5-██'s opinion: Autonomous activity within protocol approved. Detained individuals should be kept detained and threatened until SCP-999-KO appears.
Third Containment Report
Date: ██-██-19██
Process: Dr █████████, who had a Level 4 Security Clearance, vanished during the abduction. Site-██ cameras were switched off. The operation was executed out of sight. All clear.
Results: Containment successful. The site started an investigation on the camera malfunction. Adequate response required.
O5-██'s opinion: Revising the treatment of detained personnel. Returning them is the most plausible option. However, an abrupt return may cause suspicion within the sites. Subject currently under discussion.
Fourth Containment Report
Date: ██-██-20██
Process: Dr ██████ showed excessive resistance during the third abduction. He killed the supporting agents using SCP-███-KO, threatened the MTF agents and attempted escape. He was killed on site. Gunshots triggered the Site-██ alarm. SCP-███-KO continues to operate.
Results: Contaiment suspended. SCP-███-KO activity caused site damage. Agents' bodies killed by SCP-███-KO has been [DATA EXPUNGED]. Dr ██████, who was killed, is a suspected member of a cult. Awaiting orders.
O5-██'s opinion: Revision of execution protocols needed. Continue operation until otherwise ordered. Investigation on Dr ██████ is handed to [REDACTED].
Seventh Containment Report
Date: ██-██-20██
Process: Following orders from Site-██'s Administrator, Dr ████████████, who was working outside, was abducted in █████. He vanished afterwards.
Results: Contaiment successful. All clear.
O5-██'s opinion: Containment protocol revised. Unless otherwise needed, containment protocols are to be executed outside the base. Administrators with Security Clearance of Level 5 or higher are to support MTF Unit Yota-5's operation.
