Special Containment Procedures: After 17. 9. 2019, it is strictly forbidden to preserve, spread or gather information about the appearance of SCP-083-CS. This rule does not apply to Site-12CS, where the only allowed description of the looks of SCP-083-CS is kept on paper, with its location known only to the ČROD and the O5 Council. All individuals, regardless of clearance, must be given Class B to D amnestics, depending on the time elapsed since the onset of SCP-083-CS.
Description: SCP-083-CS is a psychological phenomenon which destroys imaginary friends. SCP-083-CS forms in the human mind, provided that the given person knows how SCP-083-CS looks. While the spread of SCP-083-CS can be restricted by destroying information about its appearance, It seems that for as long as at least one person knowing its appearance exists, SCP-083-CS can spontaneously manifest in the mind of any other human and spread further. It is not yet known what conditions are needed for SCP-083-CS to transfer between consciousnesses, or if SCP-083-CS could designate several entities with an identical appearance.
Manifestation or transfer of SCP-083-CS happens primarily while dreaming, when a given person finds out about its appearance in a dream, either through a direct encounter with SCP-083-CS, its picture, or a simple description from a character from the dream, etc. It is possible that SCP-083-CS is located in some people's subconscious, meaning that affected individuals might not be aware of it. In this case, it is not possible to find out if they are affected, since knowledge of the looks of SCP-083-CS is required to induce a memory of it, which would mean supporting its spread.
SCP-083-CS attacks or destroys imaginary friends in any time range after the first manifestation. It can happen immediately or after several months. Affected individuals will imagine, alongside their own imaginary friend, the SCP-083-CS entity as well. Affected people have had a mostly negative relationship with this entity, imagining how their imaginary friend runs from SCP-083-CS, evades it, or even fights it, although all these cases have ended with SCP-083-CS devouring the imaginary friend, either alive or prepared into a dish. A larger amount of imaginary friends does not affect their termination. After this event, SCP-083-CS appears only in dreams, but can still spread. This also applies to people who never had an imaginary friend.
Individuals who have lost their imaginary friend due to SCP-083-CS, can, but do not have to, remember all the events of their loss, they do not have to remember their imaginary friends, or just SCP-083-CS, etc. For these reasons, it is not ruled out that SCP-083-CS is behind every loss of an imaginary friend of all people that ever had them. SCP-083-CS can also take advantage of people who do not have imaginary friends to spread further. People who remember their loss of an imaginary friend to SCP-083-CS have exhibited psychical and emotional hardships, in the form of bad mood, sadness or even fear. However, these symptoms have dissipated after some time. There has not yet been a person attacked by SCP-083-CS who was scarred for life.
Because of the principle of SCP-083-CS, its exact looks cannot be described, although after a ČROD vote (see below), the inclusion of a partial description of its appearance in this document was decided.

The appearance of SCP-083-CS does not conform to the normal understanding of reality, although an image of SCP-083-CS can still be made in the real world as well, using common tools. Upon questioning about the eye color of SCP-083-CS, affected people said that they are the color of "hunger". SCP-083-CS is not a humanoid, it has more than four limbs. The sounds that it makes are mostly diverse, and tend to be compared to various things. SCP-083-CS is most similar to arthropods. Its original height upon discovery was 1 to 3 meters. After devouring an imaginary friend, SCP-083-CS grows by several centimeters to meters.
Addendum: SCP-083-CS was discovered in May of year 2018 during the comparison of psychological health states in the Pedagogical-psychological advisory centers in Břeclav and in Frýdek-Místek. 31 independent patients described the same entity, which attacked and ate their imaginary friends. This data was compared with Pedagogical-psychological advisory centers in the states of EU, USA, Russia, Japan, Canada, Brazil, and in all of those places, the same appearance of this entity was confirmed.
