Item #: SCP-032-TH
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the Foundation's inability to contain SCP-032-TH as the specimen has no tangible or visible form and exists as a digital media that is very difficult to control, the current measure is special surveillance. Therefore, the DCLASSCCG-6 team was established for Class-D personnel to search for or access SCP-032-TH.
In addition, there is off-site monitoring on the internet network to search for other individuals who are accessing SCP-032-TH from various locations, and all witnesses will have their memories erased.
Description: SCP-032-TH is a website that resembles a Dharma website, with the URL [DATA REDACTED]. SCP-032-TH can only be accessed on Buddhist holy days from 00:00 to 24:00. It cannot be accessed on other regular days.
The webpage is an edited video of a burning shrine and Thai Dharma proverbs, and a click button to access various pages on the website.
The affected individuals will slowly and completely lose their ability to see, hear, speak, and move by unknown means while they are in front of SCP-032-TH. Then, a large amount of dark brown oil secretes from all their pores, spreading throughout the area where they are sitting. Analysis shows that this substance has characteristics similar to Prai oil. If the affected individuals cannot escape from SCP-032-TH, they will die within 2 hours with flames igniting and burning their bodies to ashes. These phenomena occur through unknown means.
However, nearby individuals can remove the affected person from the screen, but their vision, hearing, and speech will not return to normal. Henceforth, they will be referred to as SCP-032-TH-1.
SCP-032-TH-1 continues to secrete the dark brown liquid. Drinking this liquid will cause the drinker to experience hallucinations similar to drug-induced hallucinations, and they will occasionally see visions of a burning shrine and Thai Dharma proverbs everywhere, but will not be affected in the same way as SCP-032-TH-1.
Addendum-1: The following are Dharma proverbs from SCP-032-TH:
Those who grieve for the departed
Are like children crying
Asking for the moon in the sky
The cremated dead
Are deaf to the laments of grieving kin
Thus,
I do not grieve…
When they have gone their own way
