How to Get All Nightmare Strands

Nightmare Strands are an extra challenge that you can attempt to complete in Saros. These are difficult encounters that appear after you activate an Eclipse, but the rewards are worthwhile. Not only can you get your Second Chance back if you've already lost it, but completing them all once unlocks the Trophy, Nightmare Stands. Here's everything you need to know about how to get all Nightmare Strands while playing Saros.

Where to Find All Nightmare Strands

There's one Nightmare Stranw in all of the biomes, except for the Yellow Shore. It can be easy to miss them as you're dashing through these regions, but thankfully, they do appear at specific times in those biomes and require you to unlock Permanent Equipment to access them.

Nightmare Strand Shattered Rise
You can find the Nightmare Strand in the Shattered Rise shortly after you activate the Eclipse, after you go beyond the Overlord's entrance. This location has a Grapple drone in front of it, requiring you to unlock this ability before you can reach it.

Nightmare Strand Ancient Depths
The Nightmare Strand in the Ancient Depths is above the entrance, where you can find the Overlord, the Bastion. However, you can only access it during the Eclipse, and you need the Eclipse Tether to reach the top section.

Nightmare Strand Shattered Descent
You can find the Shattered Descent Nightmare Strand right before fighting this region's Overlord, the Rhabdom.

Nightmare Strand Blighted Marsh
You can find this Nightmare Strand at the halfway point of the Blighted Marsh. You need to trigger the Eclipse either at the beginning or in the middle section. When you reach the middle, the Nightmare Strand is on the side.

Nightmare Strand Desecrated Fortress
You can find this Nightmare Strand in the Desecrated Fortress at the halfway point of the biome. It's at the large gap where you unlock the Eclipse Thread ability, and when you complete the first thread, take a left, and it will be on the side, next to the Yellow Shield wall.

Nightmare Strand Acolyte's Haven
You can find this Nightmare Strand close to the end of the Acolyte's Haven biome, before you reach the Beacon and return to fight against this area's Overlord, the Shepherd.

Nightmare Strand Cathedral
You can find this Nightmare Strand on the right side of the Cathedral, either after you've tipped over to be on the ceiling or while you're still on the ground.
