Hello!
I'm an administrator on the german wikipedia. Most notably I take care of the spamblacklist there. The reason for this request is related to that: the global blacklist. :-)
I've been temp. admin here for two months now (see Meta:Requests for adminship/wiki_seth) and want to go on with that; see user_talk:Mike.lifeguard#temp.->permanent_adminship? for details.
So I'm requesting a temporary adminship till end of march 2009. -- seth 09:21, 2 October 2008 (UTC) [reply ]
- Sure, I support renewed temp. adminship. —Anonymous Dissident Talk 09:58, 2 October 2008 (UTC) [reply ]
- Support! (I would not mind if the adminship becomes a 'permanent' one, all help with the blacklist is welcome, and I am sure you will use it responsibly; we all make mistakes anyway and they can be repaired as well). --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 10:56, 2 October 2008 (UTC) [reply ]

- Support Support - if this guy is trusted enough on his home wiki, surely he can be here? Spam blacklisting - always need more spaxperts here! (In case you're wondering what a spaxpert is, it's a neologism I coined - "spamming expert!) --Kelsington 20:55, 7 October 2008 (UTC) [reply ]

- Why not request permanent? Seems needful, seems you have wide support, seems you're doing good work. I suggest withdrawing and rerequesting permanent. But if not, no biggie, and you have my support for temp. ++Lar: t/c 21:44, 8 October 2008 (UTC) [reply ]
- Withdrawing, and re-requesting you mean? I don't see how beneficial that would be. Majorly talk 22:39, 8 October 2008 (UTC) [reply ]
- I agree with Majorly. A restart would cost the same as a prospective request for a perm. adminship for example in march 2009. So it's probably better to leave it now as it is and wait just a few remaining hours. -- seth 00:54, 9 October 2008 (UTC) [reply ]
