Meta:Requests for adminship/wiki seth

hello!
i'm an administrator on the german wikipedia. most notably i take care of the spamblacklist there. the reason for this request is related to that, see Talk:Spam_blacklist#double/wrong_entries for details.
a temporary adminship (till end of august or september 2008) should be enough time, for fixing some sbl-bugs and perhaps helping to reorganize the sbl-logs. -- seth 13:19, 7 August 2008 (UTC) [reply ]

Looking at the page, you seem to have agreement of spam blacklist regulars, so your contributions there will be welcome. I believe Majorly is correct, temp has no time limits, it can be closed a few hours after it begins, so anaconda's close is justified and since wiki seth has confirmed his identity, his sysop right can be given back to him...--Comet styles 12:49, 12 August 2008 (UTC) [reply ]

Actually our policy says temporary adminship does not require a vote at all. Sorry, I thought he had unified his/her accounts, but obviously I was looking in the wrong place. I agree with the removal of rights until he/she confirms his/her identity. --.anaconda 15:03, 11 August 2008 (UTC) [reply ]
