Egypt Wikimedians User Group/GLAM

Egypt Wikimedians User Group (EWUG) is interested in GLAM activities , collaborating with cultural institutions to improve access to their collections through projects such as digitizing and uploading content, creating online exhibitions, and hosting events.
The EWUG is featured by the Wikimedia Foundation to commend the group's activities at museums, documenting Egyptian heritage online on Wikimedia projects.
At the end of 2025, the EWUG decided to create the GLAM team to specialize in covering and expanding the project's activities.
