(psWp is expanding and it needs an admin that knows the native language and solve the issues that can only be solved by someone who know the language. Global sysops have problems of understanding the discussions that take place in native language. There are some users that are not familiar to communicate in english language thus it is the urgent need of Pashto wiki. Since I have expierence of 10 years working in different aspects of Pashto wiki and there are users who support me therefore I nominate myself and assign a nomination page where users will vote. Hi, AzChanna, the discussion you posted was for the first election (Steward_requests/Permissions/Approved_temporary#AzChanna.40sdwiki) which expired on 14 Nov 2015. Usually, after the temporary adminship expires, you start another discussion for a permanent adminship [there is no "adminship for life" ;)].

I would like to apply for temporary adminship for three months on the Finnish Wikiversity. There are zero active sysops, and I'd like to delete redundant pages, update the interface (system messages), fix cut-and-paste moves by merging histories, and do other administrative stuff. I have been admin on fi.wikipedia and fi.wikisource for 2–3 years now, and I was a temporary admin at fi.wiktionary in the autumn of 2014 executing a similar "tour of duty" in 3 months. The community of fi.wikiversity is very small. I don't think there is going to be any discussion. There is an ongoing course where people get academic credit for their contributions, but they do not know how to sign their texts (they use both article pages and discussion pages for conversation, it's a real mess). Someone has cut-and-pasted the talk pages so that the page history has been lost, and single contributions cannot be separated from the whole. Someone else has already asked where they should post their comments now. The course instructor seems to be gone, and when he was present, it was obvious that he had no idea how to use Mediawiki code properly. I understand that applications of this kind should normally be open for at least a week so that the silent community might voice their opinions on me, but I really would like to expedite this process. I could sort out the mess this weekend and get things on the right track. I am now thinking of seeking a permanent adminship later on, and community discussion on that could be open for several weeks. --Pxos (talk) 13:46, 20 November 2015 (UTC) [reply ]

According to the global policy on inactivity (see Admin activity review), which applies when there is no local policy, Inactivity -- is defined as zero edits and zero administrative actions on the wiki in two years.
For user Str4nd on fi.wikisource, he has made his last edit in June 2010 and last log action 6 November 2013. Both are over 2 years old. Str4nd is completely inactive as an administrator and as a user, and his sysop status should be removed. --Pxos (talk) 14:08, 18 November 2015 (UTC) [reply ]

Not done. The Admin activity review is a process that is done systematically. This permits for instance having the assurance that the user has been notified and given time to reply. Well, it doesn't seem to work according to policy. When str4nd was reviewed back in 2013, he didn't inform the community at all, but made instead a pro forma action (by deleting an empty category). The community could not discuss the matter according to policy. I have now contacted the user on fi-wikisource and I am waiting for his response. If he decides to make another single log action, do you say that this guarantees his sysop status for the next 2 years? It's against the AAR policy, isn't it? (削除) This is not the correct place but still I want to write my question again: The AAR policy tells me that when a sysop is detected, who has been inactive for two months, the sysop himself must notify the community and the community then will decide the matter. Now it seems that if the sysop fails to do that but instead makes a pro forma action every two years, this trumps the community every time.
